In order to use financial aid from your Virginia Community College attendance for a computer purchase, you must wait until you receive your excess financial aid check (financial aid that is refunded to you for other costs of education after the charges on your student account have been satisfied). Excess aid checks are usually sent out a few weeks after the last day to drop classes with a refund each semester. In addition to your discount as a student, faculty or staff member at a Virginia Community College, a percentage of your purchase will be remitted to the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education (VFCCE).
