Cloud services refers to maintaining computing and/or data storage capabilities off your business premises. Services include public, private, and hybrid clouds. Public cloud services refer to the “renting” of the required computing power (i.e., you don’t own the equipment, you pay for what you need). Private cloud services refer to you purchasing the required computing equipment and renting space. Power, cooling, and racks are provided.
Hybrid cloud services are just that; some computing is conducting at your business while other functions are conducted off premise. Examples include maintaining your own data center while including a public or private could disaster recovery location.
